Oldest documents on Château de la Buronnière are from 1410. The first owners were Knights of the Maltheser Cross and charged with financial tasks in the service of the Dukes of Anjou.
1610-1715: Construction of le Palais de Versailles. Reign of Louis XIV. Royal power at its peak; France dominates Europe.
Around 1684 Château de la Buronnière is renovated and expanded in a Renaissance style and modified into a more comfortable home.
1776-1786: Formation of the United States of America – American War of Independence
