The Château

Château de la Buronnière is entirely concealed from the small roads that wind through the countryside.

The main doorway leads into an impressive long Gallery. Downstairs, a series of entertaining rooms – originally in enfilade – in which our guests can relax, read a book, enjoy breakfast or dinner or have a drink. The beautiful Oak Library, is lined with bookcases filled with historic books and documents. The Dining room is a light and spacious room. Its generous window doors lead into the gardens. The intimate Lounge has a  central fireplace, where in early or late season breakfast and dinner will be accompanied by a lovely fire.

Château de la Buronnière offers only five guest rooms, ensuring all guests a very private holiday. Although quite often our guests share evenings in the Library—great company and conversation!
