The Gardens

You can best appreciate Château de la Buronnière’s tranquil spirit when wandering in its exquisite gardens. There is plenty of space in the gardens and the park in which to escape. Here you will find peace and harmony.

There are many centuries-old trees to marvel at: the 17th century Sycamores near the Lake or, the recently ´restored’ Lebanon Cedar from 1750 and some twenty Giant Séquoia’s from 1850. Enjoy the majestic oasis of the lake, the trickle of a water fall and the distant view on La Buronnière from the small island.

Enjoy a walk through the small forest with its cool atmosphere on warm days. Sit down and relax in the old Potager garden, vast and walled, with wells and granite water basins. Admire the Verger, the orchard, with cherries, apples and pears and a long row of ancient-styled clipped fruit trees.
